Allen COVID-19 Response
The Allen Fire Department has tasked the Allen CAREs Program with helping identify and serving people who may be vulnerable to the COVID-19 (Corona virus). This group includes people 60 years of age or older who have underlying medical conditions, who are over 80 years of age, or have shown symptoms of COVID-19 and are self-quarantining.
Allen CAREs stands for Allen Citizen Assistance and Resource Engagement. The goal is to use trained and vetted volunteers to support our community members when help may be needed the most. Please expect a call with-in the next 24 hours to collect more information and discern how to best assist you.
Allen CAREs is a program of the Allen Community Response Team (CERT). CERT serves under the direction of the Allen Fire Department and is a part of FEMA’s Citizen Corps.
